The board of the Electronics Manufacturing Association (EMA) of Oregon is deeply saddened by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and other similarly senseless killings. We condemn racism and injustice. We stand with those who demand that people of color are truly treated equally.
As an organization representing companies in the electronics design and manufacturing industry of the Pacific Northwest, we must insist on equal treatment for all of our citizens and accountability from our public servants. Racism has no place in our world. Hatred and inequality have no place in our world.
The EMA is here to support all that work in, or are interested in, electronics design and manufacturing.
The Oregon Electronics Manufacturers Association, formerly known as the Northwest Printed Circuit Association, has been serving the electronics community in Oregon for over 40 years.
Our corporate members strive to share expertise with each other to help provide solutions when needed. We also help match one firm’s needs with another’s ability to fulfill them. With global competition squeezing margins tighter than ever, it’s important to conduct manufacturing and operations using efficient and cost effective methods. The EMA is committed to assisting the regional electronics industry in this endeavor.
